Aramine Unveils New Battery-Powered Mining Machines at MINExpo

Aramine presented new developments in battery-powered mining equipment at MINExpo in Las Vegas. The company, which first introduced its L140B battery-powered miniLoader in 2016, has seen its machines accumulate over 200,000 operating hours globally. Aramine highlighted the potential benefits of battery-powered machinery, including lower CO2 emissions and improved underground working conditions.

The company also introduced the L440B Loader, with a tramming capacity significantly greater than the L140B. Features of the L440B include a "quick replacement system" for battery modules, a dual-technology energy module for continued operation during partial failures, and Industry 4.0-ready software to provide real-time data on operations.

Aramine's efforts are part of ongoing developments to expand its range of battery-powered machines and explore options for repurposing machine batteries in other settings, reflecting broader industry trends in sustainability and innovation.
